Sources of funding 2017-2019

Erasmus+: We regret to inform you, there will be probably no Erasmus+ scholarships available for this course in 2017.

·

Self-funding students: We are happy to consider self-funded students or those who have other sources of funding. You will have to pay the tuition fee listed below, which is low compared to many other course tuition fees.

·

Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP): Participants who receive NFP funding are required to spend either the first or second year at the University of Twente, Faculty of Geo-information Science and Earth Observation (ITC) in the Netherlands.

The call for applications for a JJWBGSP Scholarship is scheduled to open January 25, 2017.

Special remark on all student contracts self-funding students:

Any fieldwork, international, local, and intra-European travel are at the students own expenses.

Special remark on student contract with EU students:

You should ensure that you have sufficient means of financial support (approximately € 850.00 per month to cover costs of living and accommodation. As an EU citizen this needs not to be paid in advance.

Special remark non-EU Living allowance for 12 months (including housing):

Living allowance for 12 months has to be paid because of the residence permit procedure in the Netherlands for non-European students. This monthly allowance will be transferred to the bank account of the student on monthly basis.

Special remark on payment in installments:

Payment in installments is not possible for non-EU students because of the rules for residence permit in The Netherlands. For EU students payment in installments is possible.

Prices are in euros and are subject to change.

Living expenses are estimated at approximately € 850.00 per month, but may be slightly higher or lower depending on the country where you study.
